Yolanda: Legendary iA persona who was a businessperson in the 70s, an internet pioneer in the 90s and is now, in spite of her age, more active, sharper, more eloquent and more knowledgeable than ever. The goal of our apps is to make them so simple and useful that aunt Yolanda (who is in reality writes herself with a J) approves of iA’s apps and finally abandons Microsoft Word. This will likely never happen because she is also very pragmatic. But it remains a goal, a standard, and a classic reference.

You Need That: Synecdoche, the full quote is "You need that, 'cause without it you suck". The expression is used when you are forced to accept something painfully useless, or when you do something even though you know it’s useless or painful. Like building your CMS in a CMS. “Das bruuchsch" can also be used in double irony, when in fact you do something extremely cool that may not be that useful, and you have some doubts over its consequences but still “you need that”. The opposite is “That’s not needed” which is an understated hard diss. Sometimes "you need that" justifies a tom foolery, sometimes it's used sarcastically, specifically when something is so bad that it's almost funny. Picked up by listening closely to how Swiss football hooligans talk to each other in the 90ties.
