Want to create a presentation really, really quickly? Import a Markdown or text file, which automatically converts it into slides in Presenter. Add a few visuals and you’re good to go.
To import a .md
or .txt
file from Writer (or any text editor):
Presenter will split your imported document’s content based on its structure. For example, Presenter will create new slide for each # Heading1
or ## Heading2
it finds in your document.
Tip: Keep in mind that regular text paragraphs are not not visible in your slides, as explained in our tutorial. Body text is your script by default—your speaker notes.
If your imported .md
or .txt
document includes local images, Presenter will automatically add them to the .iapresenter
file. Depending on your local settings, Presenter may ask you for access to these images.
Imported images have to be added like this: ![alt text](image_name.png)
—see our Markdown Guide for more details. Presenter doesn’t currently support adding images as Content Blocks yet.
If you are experiencing a problem that our support section doesn’t solve please reach out to us. We take a break on the weekends (JST), but during weekdays we aim to reply within 1-2 business days.
