Why subscriptions?
A subscription gives you access to the latest version for all platforms as we add them. It also includes server-intensive features, such as sharing large presentations.
For students and teachers
A student’s status is temporary, and the discount on the annual subscription reflects that. Teachers can get the same discount on request.
Use on multiple devices
One account covers one person across multiple devices of the same type—currently for Mac only. For additional accounts, explore our special solutions for businesses and organizations.
One time ≠ lifetime
With one time payment you get the latest release along with minor updates, but major new releases may cost more. With a subscription you’ll always have the latest version.
Why are one time payments per platform?
We develop each platform individually and they’re sold separately—like software in a box. One time payments are per platform. Subscriptions provide access to all platforms.
Web Sharing
Apps downloaded from the App Store today do not currently support Web Sharing, and will require a separate subscription in the future. Subscriptions directly from us always include Web Sharing. One time purchases from us include 1 year of Web Sharing, and will require a separate subscription after.
How we operate
